WSI President receives Honorary Doctorate

Tjerk (Jack) Dusseldorp received a Honorary Doctorate at the RMIT University's Honorary Awards Ceremony in Melbourne, May 7. 

The WorldSkills International Board and Secretariat would like to congratulate Tjerk on this outstanding recognition!

Tjerk Dusseldorp is the President of WorldSkills International and he is also the Executive Chairman of the Dusseldorp Skill Forum (DSF).

Jack has Degrees in Social Science and Law and his working life has included time with the NSW Law Foundation, the Evatt Foundation and he has headed up the Office of Youth Affairs in the second Hawke government.

He has also served as a Board member of the NSW TAFE Commission and the Australian Student Traineeship Foundation.

In 2000, Tjerk received the Order of Australia Medal for services to education and to the community.
