WorldSkills first podcast featuring TV personality Kayleen McCabe
For their first podcast, representatives of the WorldSkills Champions Trust interviewed TV host Kayleen McCabe Contractor, Public Speaker, TV personality on DIY Network's Rescue Renovations, and Founder of the McCabe Foundation.
Gary Condon and Chirag Goel, of the Champions Trust, discuss with Ms McCabe the issue of gender stereotypes and how to attract more girls and women to skilled careers. Click here for the entire podcast.
"Do not let what other people think of you deter you from what you want to do," said Ms
McCabe. "My true happiness in life comes from working with my hands, and the fact that someone's gender would limit them from doing that needs to be addressed."
