WorldSkills Americas Bogotá 2014

The 3rd WorldSkills Americas Competition is almost here! It will be held on 1-6 April 2014 in Bogotá, Colombia. The event is expecting 24 Member countries to attend and participate.

WorldSkills Americas (WSA) is a continental Competition held every two years. In 2010 it was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and in 2012 it was held in São Paulo, Brazil. Experts from the different delegations are actively involved in developing the Test Project for each skill competition and this forms what the Competitors will actual create, design, produce or serve during the event.

The event provides a platform for the improvement of skills development and excellence through the exchange of knowledge between countries and regions in North America, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.

Planning on attending? Download the WorldSkills app from the Apple App Store! This app will enhance your visitor experience, armed with quick ways of understanding each skill, capable of browsing which countries and regions are competing for the gold medal, and inform you what events are happening throughout the entire Competition week.
