WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 launches website

The WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 website launches, 15 July, World Youth Skills Day.

The dual language site, in both Arabic and English, is a comprehensive guide to the competition, the host city, and the WorldSkills movement.

It offers an introduction to Abu Dhabi and the shared vision of the United Arab Emirates with WorldSkills of the importance of vocational skills and education for the prosperity of future generations.

Using video and interactive elements, the site covers all aspects of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 for visitors, participating teams, and officials, while providing an introduction to each skill that has been designed to engage and inform young people and help them in their vocational education and career choices.

The 44th WorldSkills Competition will take place from 14–19 October 2017. This is the first time it will be hosted in a Middle East country.
