Watch Competitors live during their test match in the Netherlands

Technical talents from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Singapore, Morocco, Ireland, Canada, Hungary, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Belarus, Latvia, Sweden, and Macao, China will battle each other in the Netherlands (7-9 April) to find out which team masters their skills to the max! Build up WorldSkills

The contest in the Netherlands is a test match in the build up to WorldkSkills São Paulo 2015. The WorldSkills Competition is held every two years and is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in the world. The Competitors represent the best of their peers and are selected from WorldSkills' Member countries and regions. They will demonstrate their technical abilities, both individually and collectively while executing specific tasks. These tasks are consistent with their level of education, and with their possible future professions.

São Paulo

The 43rd edition, being held in São Paulo in August 2015, is expected to surpass the record number of Competitors registered for the Competition. In Leipzig, Germany (2013) nearly 1,000 participants from 53 countries and regions competed for medals in 46 Skills.

Dutch SkillsChampions

The contest is Gorinchem is organized by TechniekTalent.nu, a partnership that uses SkillChampions matches to improve craftsmanship, the positive image of the trade and stimulate an influx of young technicians. Read more about the SkillsChampions (Vakkanjers) on www.devakkanjers.nl.
