WorldSkills Calgary 2009 Ltd. and WorldSkills International (WSI) hosted a Team Leader Working Group following the recent Technical Committee / Chief Experts' Meetings in Calgary with the goal of refining and enhancing all aspects of the Competition that relate to Team Leaders and Competitors.

During the 3-day program, the Team Leaders toured both the Competition Site and the Competitor Village, and discussed with WorldSkills Calgary 2009 Ltd and WorldSkills International all host-related aspects of Competitor events and activities with the aim of clarifying, agreeing, and improving where possible.

The topic of everyone’s interest was the Competitor Experience. SAIT Polytechnic will serve as the Competitor Village during the Competition and discussions about turning student accommodation into a Competitors Village lead to great development in how everything is going to work during the Competition.
