Spread the Word about the WorldSkills movement
16 July 2009
WorldSkills Calgary 2009 (WS Calgary 2009) and WorldSkills International (WSI) are introducing a new initiative in time for the 40th WorldSkills Competition. This project is to highlight and showcase the stars of the Competition: the Competitors. Through a unique and creative videography approach we want to help bring world recognition and awareness to the WorldSkills movement and Competition.
Via WorldSkills TV (www.worldskills.tv) and the help of experts in this field, The Australian Channel (TAC), the objective is to produce 100 short video vignettes of Competitors, Experts, and stakeholders with an international focus.
Through the leading edge technology and use of social media networks, all WorldSkills supporters will now:
- have the opportunity to access daily videos from the WorldSkills Competition that they can share family, friends and colleagues of your Team, through www.worldskills.tv
- be able to pull the videos onto other websites and have them played directly from any website
- be able to provide a daily update on events at the 40th WorldSkills Competition for team supporters back home.
