The One School One Country initiative aims to motivate and encourage primary school teaching staff and management to proactively engage pupils in learning about the skills and careers of other countries/regions. Participating schools will provide a programme of cultural activities culminating in primary school pupils welcoming Competitors and Experts to the UK and their particular school in October 2011.

In addition to the above, we intend to host a One School One Country planning day in June 2011. This will be an opportunity for primary school head teachers and their teaching staff, involved in the initiative, to plan the welcome reception for Competitors and Experts.

We hope that you will join us in taking part this exciting and inspirational educational experience to primary schools and that Competitors, Experts and Delegates will be encouraged to participate and engage in what promises to be an exciting opportunity.

We will be providing regular updates relating to the development of the One School One Country initiative. However, should you require more specific information please email the Head of Education at WorldSkills London 2011, Chidi Okolo at cokolo@worldskillslondon2011.com
