Your chance to help promote WorldSkills London 2011

WorldSkills London 2011 By WorldSkills London 2011

The largest international vocational skills competition in the world will be held in London in October 2011 — and the promotion of the event is now well underway.

WorldSkills London 2011 will take place  5–8 October 2011 at ExCeL in London’s docklands and will be the most exciting, inclusive and interactive skills competition ever held. Over 150 000 visitors will witness an estimated 1 200 Competitors from 50 countries/regions competing in 45 skills ranging from Bricklaying to Cooking and Mobile Robotics.

In order to help attract our ambitious target of 150 000 visitors and to generate awareness among businesses and the skills sector, WorldSkills London 2011 is producing a range of marketing materials to help the project team, WorldSkills International and Member countries/regions, partners and sponsors promote the Competition. We have recently developed a new general ad for use in brochures and flyers — and even as a poster. We have also produced two digital banners and one Mid Page Unit (MPU) to spread the word about WorldSkills London 2011. They can be added to any website that supports standard digital advertising formats and provide a direct link to more information about the Competition at www.worldskillslondon2011.com. All of these media are available for download from www.worldskills.org.

In addition to general information about the event, we will also be producing tailored pieces for specific audiences, such as teachers, students and volunteers.
