WorldSkills welcomes new Secretariat staff

We are very pleased to advise that we have some additional staff at the Secretariat.

Kari Zral – Executive Assistant to the CEO started in September. Kari has a professional background working with Skills Canada Alberta starting just prior to WorldSkills Calgary 2009. Kari was part of the extended Secretariat in London 2011 and Leipzig 2013.

Luise Kühnel – Technical Assistant started on 1 November. Luise worked since January 2013 as a Technical Assistant to Marten Winter and his technical team in WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 GmbH. Luise will predominantly focus on supporting the skill competitions development working closely with Jane and the Technical Committee. A small proportion of her time will support general Secretariat activities.

Alexander Amiri – Sponsorship and Partnership Director starts in early January, 2014. Alex has worked the last few years as the Sponsorship Director at WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 GmbH and will finish at the end of December. Alex will focus on our sponsorship and partnership goals and activities with an overarching objective of increasing our sponsors and partners and helping achieve greater synergy, efficiency and benefits to all stakeholders including WSI, WSF, Competition Organizer and Members.

Grace Lung - Project Developer (WorldSkills Foundation) starts in early January 2014. Grace worked as the Customer & Delegate Services Manager at WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 GmbH. In her role she will focus on project co-ordination, development of delegate relations and further marketing and communications around the Foundation activities.
