WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 offers an excellent opportunity to bring together people from government, industry and education committed to the field of VET. We are pleased to announce that the Conference Program will be embedded in WorldSkills Leipzig 2013. Registration is now openFocusIt will focus on opportunities and risks for young people on their path to education and employment in a globalized world. Lasting employability in emerging economies, new industries and services as well as increasing mobility demand a different view on the facilitation of required abilities and qualifications of young generations. WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 Conference Program will map the visions and future trends which underline the path of our youth into their future. RelevanceThe conference programme increases the relevance of the world’s largest educational event and provides the perfect networking opportunity for leaders in government, education and industry with a vested interest in VET globally. It will bring together renowned institutions of vocational education and training and the industry such as the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the European Union (EU), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). It will also include the WorldSkills Leaders Forum (WSLF) and the Global Skills Marketplace (GSM). ProfessionalAs for a professional input about best practices, trends and developments in vocational education training, the Global Skills Marketplace is offering a broad range of interactive seminars on 5 July. The detailed seminar schedule will be provided shortly. The overall Conference Program offers various opportunities to network exclusively and exchange ideas. For our 66 Member countries/regions, the WorldSkills Competition together with the WorldSkills Leipzig 2013 Conference Program significantly contributes to raising the level of competences throughout the world and brings new awareness to these crucial sectors in the global economy. |
