Caring
covers a broad range of abilities and activities dealing with social
care, support of growth and development, caring and rehabilitation as
follows:
- supporting growth and development in client based activities in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- providing
caring and rehabilitation of clients across the lifespan in a variety
of health care settings (e.g. nutrition; drug administration, use of
functional/assistive devices)
- demonstrating knowledge,
management and competence of requisite skills to support growth and
development; caring and rehabilitation
- applying ethics, ergonomics, equality, safety and environmental regulations
- evaluating own working processes and receiving feedback from the clients/relevant sources
